THREE EQUESTRIAN RIDERS SHARE MUSTANG OF THE WEEK

Three Mount Ida College women's equestrian riders have been selected as this week's Mustangs-of-the-week.  Junior's Autumn Iverson (Sharon, MA/Norfolk County Agricultural), Lila Pemberton (Acton, MA/Acton-Boxboro Regional), and freshman Rachel Taylor placed in the top two for their events in the regional championships held at Pembroke Farm, the home of the Mount Ida College equestrian team, last weekend.

Pemberton captured the first spot as champion in the open flat event while fellow teammate Iverson also placed first as champion of the novice fences event.  Taylor notched second place claiming reserve champion honors in the intermediate fences event. 

The regional event is very difficult to advance in with only the top two riders in each class able to move on to the zone finals that were being held this past weekend.  Congratulations to these riders on this wonderful accomplishment and we wish them the best of luck as they move on.
