FRESHMAN ANTHONY TOKARZ NAMED FOOTBALL ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Freshman quarterback Anthony Tokarz (Holden, MA/Northeast Regional) led the Mount Ida College football team with 59 yards rushing, good for a 5.4 average, and one touchdown in a 43-23 loss at Springfield College this past Saturday.  Tokarz also went 11-25 in the air for 153 yards passing and one touchdown to his favorite target, junior wide out Kyle Watkins (New Haven, CT/James Hillhouse).  The Mount Ida football program will host Hartwick College this coming Saturday with kick-off starting at 1:00 p.m.
