JUNIOR CHERIE PARISI NAMED MUSTANG OF THE WEEK

Junior forward Cherie Parisi (South Attleboro, MA/Attleboro) registered her fourth double-double of the season with 19 points and 14 rebounds in a tough 72-42 loss to hosting non-conference Framingham State College this past Thursday night.  She also netted 14 points against Norwich University this past Saturday totaling 33 points for the week.  The Mount Ida women's basketball team will have the entire week off and re-start the action this coming Saturday for another Great Northeast Athletic Conference match-up against visiting St. Joseph's College (ME) this Saturday for Lupus awareness day.  They will be the first game of the GNAC double header with the men's team.
