SENIOR BRETT CONLEY NAMED MUSTANG OF THE WEEK
Senior captain Brett Conley (Fairfield, CT/Fairfield Warde) has been selected as this week's Mustang-of-the-week. With 11:46 remaining in the game, Conley fired in the 145th goal of his career to break the Mount Ida College men's lacrosse record for goals scored in a career en route to a 20-3 bludgeoning against visiting North Atlantic Conference (NAC) foe Johnson State College last Saturday in the Mustangs home opener.
Brett recently broke the points in a career record as well passing the all-time leader in points with 221 after netting his final goal against Curry College in the season opener in a four score performance and a 13-12 double overtime victory for the Mustangs. Conley passes John Lightbown (Melrose, MA/Melrose) who broke the record last season in the final year of play ending at 221 points. Congratulations to Brett on this wonderful accomplishment!
