ZACH JACOBSON NAMED MEN'S LAX ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Although plagued by an early knee injury in his first season as a Mustang, freshman attacker Zach Jacobson (Shoreview, MN/Moundsview) has been solid for the Mount Ida College men's lacrosse program especially this past week.  In two games in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) match-ups against visiting Green Mount Ida College and hosting rival Castleton State College he tallied two goals a piece and added an assist against the Spartans.  So for this season Jacobson has tallied five goals and one assist good for six points for the 2009 season.  He will be a very important element to the Mustangs success throughout the season.  The Mustangs will host non-conference UMASS-Dartmouth this Wednesday afternoon starting at 4:00 p.m.
