JUNIOR KYLE WATKINS SELECTED AS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK FOR FOOTBALL

Junior wide receiver Kyle Watkins (New Haven, CT/James Hillhouse) has been selected as athlete of the week for the Mount Ida College football program.  Kyle continues to add to his resume with two more touchdown catches for 139 yards receiving this past Saturday hosting Hartwick College in a tough 58-27 loss.  Watkins has by far surpassed the record for touchdowns in a season, so far this year he has 11.  Alumnus William Smith '06 caught 12 TD's in his entire career as a Mustang; Watkins will pass that in one season.  The Mount Ida football team will head to Washington, D.C. this coming Saturday to take on Gallaudet University starting at 1:00 p.m.
