JUNIOR LAUREN BIONDO NAMED MUSTANG OF THE WEEK

Junior middle blocker Lauren Biondo (Coventry, RI/Coventry) notched 14 kills with only two errors on 35 attempts in three Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matches this past week with the Mustangs going 1-2.  Biondo, who made the switch from hitter to middle blocker this past season, has totaled 83 kills on the season.  She also leads her squad in service aces (41) and blocks (19).  Mount Ida women's volleyball will host Salem State College this coming Thursday for senior night starting at 6:00 p.m.
