SENIOR LEO SHIDLER NAMED MUSTANG OF THE WEEK

Mount Ida College senior men's lacrosse captain Leo Shidler (Peabody, MA/Peabody) has been selected as this week's Mustang-of-the Week.  Shidler led the Mustangs to their sixth consecutive North Atlantic Conference (NAC) championship tallying nine goals and one assist in a 25-9 victory over conference rival Castleton State College this past Saturday in Castleton, Vermont.  Shidler was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player along with a spot of the NAC all-tournament team.  Shidler has notched 33 goals, 24 assists, for 57 points good for third on the team so far this season.  Shidler and the Mustangs will venture into the Division III NCAA men's lacrosse tournament this coming Wednesday at Springfield College starting at 7:00 p.m.
