JUNIOR CHERIE PARISI NAMED WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Junior forward Cherie Parisi (South Attleboro, MA/Attleboro) continues to lead her team combining for 36 points and 24 rebounds in three games this past week including a double-double against M.I.T. for their first victory of the season at the Mount Ida Athletic Center.  The Mustangs, who went 1-2 during the week, have shown solid improvement so far this season with intense defense.  Parisi leads her team in points (14.) and rebounds (7.6) a game so far this season.  The Mustangs will have two contests during Thanksgiving week starting this Tuesday at Westfield State College (7:00 p.m.) and on Sunday at Anna Maria College (2:00 p.m.) both non-conference games.
