MATT SAVAGE NAMED MEN'S LAX ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Sophomore attackman Matthew Savage (Peabody, MA/Peabody) has continued to show how important he is to the Mount Ida College men's lacrosse program this season picking up the pace this past week offensively. Savage tallied three scores in an 8-7 victory over a very tough New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Babson College team on a last second goal in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Savage also notched a five spot against North Atlantic Conference (NAC) foe Maine Maritime Academy this past Saturday afternoon winning 18-4 respectively. The Mustangs will travel to NAC member Husson College this coming Wednesday starting at 4:00 p.m.
