FRESHMAN WILL DANIELS NAMED MUSTANG OF THE WEEK
Mount Ida College men's soccer freshman Will Daniels (Bethany, CT/Notre Dame) has been selected as this week's Mustang-of-the-Week. Daniels powered the Mustangs to their first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) victory this past Saturday with a 3-1 win in Newton, Massachusetts. Daniels notched a hat trick scoring all three goals netted by Mount Ida in dramatic fashion. After the Raiders tied the score at 1-1 following Daniels first goal of the game, he came back in the 85th minute of play scoring his second of the contest to regain the lead and ultimately the victory. He tallied his third with less than two minutes remaining in the contest sealing it for the Mustangs. Mount Ida men's soccer will host the University of New England in non-conference action Tuesday starting at 3:30 p.m.
