JEN THOMPSON SELECTED AS MUSTANG-OF-THE-WEEK

Mount Ida College women’s lacrosse junior Jen Thompson (Easton, MD/Easton) has been named this week’s Mustang-of-the-Week. In the women’s lacrosse program’s inaugural season, the Mustangs notched their first two victories ever against hosting Anna Maria College and Pine Manor College. 

Against the AMCATS, the Mustangs scorched a 19-4 win on the coat tails of 10 goals by Mount Ida’s Thompson.  The next game was against the Gators in Mount Ida’s first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest capturing an 18-3 win with another outstanding performance by Thompson with nine goals. 

The Mustangs will travel to Chicopee, Massachusetts to face non-conference Elms College starting at 2:00 p.m.
