SCOTT DROSENDAHL NAMED ECFC PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK
Mount Ida College football junior quarterback Scott Drosendahl (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora) has been named this week’s Mustang-of-the-Week. Drosendahl, who was also selected as the Offensive Player-of-the-Week for the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference’s (ECFC) weekly honors, turned in his best performance individually for the 2011 season.
Drosendahl led the Mustangs to a 56-7 conference win over hosting Anna Maria College Saturday afternoon on a beautiful day in Paxton, Massacusetts. Drosendahl, who is six touchdown passes away from setting the all-time record for the school for TD’s thrown, connected on three scores through the air against the AMCATS going an impressive 10-12 for 141 yards. Drosendahl also added two touchdowns on the ground, both from the one yard line.
The Mustangs will host Husson University in week six this Saturday with game time slated for 1:00 p.m.
