SENIOR TRAVIS HILLERY NAMED MUSTANG-OF-THE-WEEK
Mount Ida College men’s basketball senior captain and forward Travis Hillery (Tyngsboro, MA/Central Catholic) has been selected as this week’s Mustang-of-the-Week.
Hillery became the fourth player in the history of the program to eclipse 500 rebounds in a career since the College joined NCAA Division III membership in 1999 after an impressive individual performance against Anna Maria College.
Hillery tallied 22 points and 12 boards in a 72-63 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) victory over the AmCats Thursday evening for the Mustangs first league win of the season. Hillery would add six points and seven rebounds in a GNAC loss Saturday to visiting Rivier College falling 66-57.
Hillery and the Mustangs will travel to league foe Emerson College Thursday evening with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
