4th Annual Mount Ida College Turkey Trot

It's almost that time of year again.  The wild turkeys are mulling around campus and a season of giving is fast approaching.  The 4th annual Mount Ida College Turkey Trot will take place on Friday, November 4th at 1:30 PM.

The annual turkey trot has become a staple on campus as we invite students, faculty and staff to spend the afternoon running or walking the 5K course around campus to help raise money and food during the holiday season.

Registration fees will consist of $3.00 plus a non-perishable canned good and the first 100 runners/walkers registered are guaranteed a Mount Ida Turkey Trot T-Shirt.

Please pre-register for the 2011 Turkey Trot outside of the Cafeteria from October 31-November 3.

All funds raised will be donated to the Mount Ida College Book Fund, a fund used to help students in need purchase the books required for college courses.

All food donated will be given to the Newton Food Pantry for them to distribute during the holiday season.  If you would like make an addition donation you can contact the Newton Food Pantry at:
