The Mount Ida College equestrian team is one of the most succesful and competitive programs in the region and in the Mount Ida athletic department. The Mustangs continually win ribbons at shows throughout New England during their season and place riders at Regional and Zone Championships as members of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
The following are some steps you can take to help in the recruiting process:
1. Complete our Recruiting Questionnaire. Fill out the recruiting form (below) in its entirety so we will have your information on hand.

2. Come visit. Make a visit to campus with your parents. Contact Head Coach Tina Talbot (firstname.lastname@example.org) with some anticipated dates. She will confirm availability, which will then allow you the chance to schedule a campus tour and admissions interview through our Admission’s Office at 617-928-4553. Our staff is available throughout the year and is happy to meet with prospects and their families in the equestrian office. Please anticipate spending about three hours during a complete visit.*
*Please note that our equestrian facility, Herring Brook Farm, is located in Pembroke, Mass., approximately 30 miles from campus.
3. Send a video or YouTube clips. Send a game or highlight tape of you performing in a competitive environment. We can't get out to see every prospect, but looking at a tape or YouTube clips of you allows us at least something to go on, which may be helpful in evaluating your ability to compete at Mount Ida.
