2009 GNAC FALL ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS ANNOUNCED
The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced the selections for all-conference teams for the fall 2009 season and four Mustang student-athletes have been recognized.
Mount Ida College men's soccer freshman striker Will Daniels (Bethany, CT/Notre Dame) was named GNAC men's soccer Rookie-of-the-Year as well as a second team all-conference selection. Mustang junior midfielder Hayato Kanesaka (Old Tappen, NJ/Northern Valley) received a first team all-conference selection, his second appearance on the first team and third year making an all-conference team. Junior Simon Shallop (Sierra Leone, West Africa/International School of Conkary) received the GNAC sportsmanship award for men's soccer.
Mount Ida women's volleyball junior setter Kira Feeter (Keene, NH/Keene) was received GNAC third team all-conference honors along with the GNAC women's volleyball sportsmanship award. This is the first team Feeter has received any all-conference recognition in her three years as a Mustang.
Sophomore Mount Ida women's soccer player Tracy Koukol (North Attleboro, MA/Attleboro) received the GNAC women's soccer sportsmanship award for the second year in a row.
