Laura Reed is in her tenth year
as both the head coach of the Mount Ida College Equestrian Team and
the director of the Equine Management program in the school of
business.
Reed, who has been showing horses since she was 9 years old, has
won a total of six national Hunter Pleasure and Hunt Seat
Equitation titles. She also earned the Amateur Hunter Pleasure
World Championship in 2001 and won the World Championship in Hunt
Seat Equitation and Reserve World Hunter Pleasure Junior Exhibitor
in 1995 when she was 17 years old.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Reed coached the
Mustangs to three regional reserve Highpoint Championships in each
of the past three seasons.
