MOUNT IDA FOOTBALL 2010 ECFC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
Seven Mount Ida College football players were named Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) All-Academic honorees for the 2010 season for exemplary work and achievements in the classroom. Senior’s Douglas Miles (Unionville, CT/Farmington) , Sean Simmons (Schenectady, NY/Mohonsen), Paul Shaughnessy (Malden, MA/Northeast Metro Regional), junior Kyle Lawson (Middlesex, VT/U-32), and sophomore’s Scott Drosendahl (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora), Matthew Bonomolo (Pearl River, NY/Nanuet), and Jonathan Zullo (Milford, CT/Jonathan Law) were the players honored. This is the second time in as many years Simmons and Shaughnessy have been recognized.
To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing, have participated a minimum of two with the team, and achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.30.
