MEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER RECIPIENT OF SCHOLARSHIP
Mount Ida College junior men's lacrosse player Jonathan Perez (Dorcester, MA/Wayland) was one of three student recipients of the first annual Cannons Care Scholarship presented by The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse in conjunction with MetroLacrosse, the official charitable partner of the Cannons.
Perez is one of MetroLacrosse's earliest participants starting with the program at its inception in 2000. He is currently majoring in Developmental Psychology at Mount Ida. A current member of Mustang men's lacrosse, Perez has also given back to MetroLacrosse by working as a summer camp counselor and a general volunteer at a variety of special events and tournaments. The Dorcester, Massachusetts native plans to use his scholarship award primarily to help with the cost of his books for the spring semester.
