MEN'S VOLLEYBALL LOSES ON SENIOR NIGHT, 3-0, TO ENGINEERS
Mount Ida College would recognize senior captain and middle blocker Timmy Hughes (Holliston, MA/Holliston) for his accomplishments as a Mustang on Senior Night this evening. Hughes has been a major part of the volleyball program since he arrived on campus four years ago. He leaves MIC as the career leader in kills (1,715), kills per game (5.49), attack attempts (1,934), block assists, and total blocks. His most impressive individual match accomplishment was his 44 kills against Polytechnic University back on February 11, 2007. In 2006, 07, and 08 Hughes was first in the country in kills per game and points per game. He has been the face for Mount Ida Mens Volleyball during his career as a Mustang and will truly be missed as part of the program. His intensity, work ethic, and talent will never be forgotten while his volleyball spirit will forever roam the court at the Mount Ida Athletic Center.

MEN'S VOLLEYBALL TAKES 3-0 LOSS TO EMMANUEL COLLEGE
The Mount Ida College Mens Volleyball team hosted Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England division member Emmanuel College tonight losing 3-0 by scores of 12-30, 11-30, and 22-30 . The Mustangs drop their overall record to 4-19, 2-8 in the NECVA while the Saints become and even .500 at 12-12; 6-2 in league play.

MEN'S VOLLEYBALL LOSES TO ELMS COLLEGE, 3-0
The Mount Ida College Mens Volleyball team hosted Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England division member Elms College losing 3-0 by scores of (21-30, 22-30, 27-30). The Mustangs would drop to 4-18 overall, 2-7 in the conference while the Blazers improved to 10-7 on the season, 5-2 in league play.

MOUNT IDA VOLLEYBALL LOSES TO NATIONALLY RANKED NEWBURY COLLEGE, 3-0
The Mount Ida College Mens Volleyball team hosted nationally ranked Newbury College tonight losing 3-0 in consecutive games by scores of (15-30, 24-30, 23-30). The Mustangs would drop their overall record to 4-17, 2-6 in Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) while the Nighthawks improved to 20-5, 7-1 in league play.

MOUNT IDA TAKES NECVA LOSS TO JOHNSON & WALES UNIVERSITY
The Mount Ida College Mens Volleyball team headed down to Providence, RI tonight to face Johnson & Wales University losing 3-1. The Mustangs fall to 3-12 on the year, 2-7 in the Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA), while the Wildcats better to 7-7 overall, 4-3 in league play.

MEN'S VOLLEYBALL SHUTS OUT LESLEY UNIVERSITY FOR THEIR THIRD WIN, An All Out Effort Gives The Mustangs Their Third Win
The Mount Ida College Mens Volleyball team tallied their third win of the season and their first home victory of the year beating Lesley University 3-0 by scores of 30-18, 30-19, 30-20. This would better MICs record to 3-11, 2-3 in the Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA), while the Lynx fall to 0-11 in total, and 0-9 in league play.

The Mount Ida College Mens Volleyball team hosted Johnson and Wales University Tuesday night in a non-conference match-up taking the 3-0 loss (30-19, 30-26, 30-27). The Mustangs would drop to 2-7 on the season, 1-3 in the conference while the Wildcats better their record to 2-4, 1-1 in league play.
