Third Season
Katie Zuman is entering her fourth year as the Assistant to the Athletic Director and as the Head Softball Coach at Mount Ida College. Katie has been part of the Mustangs softball staff as Assistant Coach in 2005 and 2006.
She led the Mustangs to a program best 17-19 overall
record going 10-14 in Mount Ida's third year as a
member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). The
Mustangs, who broke the school record for wins in a season (17)
that was previously set back in 2006 (13). Zuman directed
four players this season to GNAC all-conference honors along with a
berth into their first ever trip to the GNAC post-season
tournament.
Zuman spent four years at Wheaton College, graduating in 2001, with
a bachelor of science degree in Psychology. She attended
Springfield College receiving her master's degree in Sport
Management. Zuman was a Regional All-American softball
centerfielder at Wheaton for four varsity seasons. She was named
captain her senior year and brought her team to the NCAA Division
III World Series.
She worked with the Boston Cannons professional lacrosse team as
the Director of ticket sales/marketing and was the hospitality
manager at the Wellbridge Athletic Club.
She resides in Medway, Massachusetts.

Third Season
Kelly Stanton is in her third year as assistant coach for the Mount Ida College softball program. She brings a tremendous amount leadership and knowledge to the Mustangs.
Coach Stanton began her collegiate career playing at Massasoit
Community College and finished her final two years as the starting
second baseman for the Bridgewater State Bears where she earned a
degree in Exercise Science. A captain her senior year, she helped
lead the Bears to two World Series appearances and earned MASCAC
All-Conference as well Regional All-Tournament in 1998 and
1999.
Last year she assisted at Brown University where she worked
primarily with hitting and infield. She is currently a Special
Education Assistant in the Bridgewater-Raynham School District and
has a Golden Lab named Rocky.
Second Season
Coach Audrey Poulton is a second year assistant coach for the Mount Ida College women's softball program. A recent graduate of Wheaton College, she has come on to assist primarily with pitching. At Wheaton, she is tied for first all-time for saves, and fifth in career appearances and strikeouts (176).
She also led the team in hitting her senior year and graduated with an overall batting average of .374. Audrey not only pitched at Wheaton but also played first base and outfield so she will be a tremendous asset to the coaching staff.
She is currently attending Massasoit to pursue her degree in
Nursing and lives in Taunton, Massachusetts.
