MOUNT IDA AND THE GNAC RAISE LUPUS AWARENESS
Mount Ida College athletics and the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) have been recognized in the Boston Globe. This past Saturday, the Mount Ida athletic department hosted "Passionate Purple" day to raise Lupus disease awareness. Anne Marie Casey, wife of Mount Ida women's basketball coach Jack Casey, has been living with lupus for 28 years. During Saturday's festivities, Anne Marie spoke to an attentive audience during halftime about her struggles with lupus.
