Jennifer Daly enters her first season as the goalkeeper coach for the Mount Ida College women’s lacrosse program under the direction of fourth year head coach Peri Steere.
Daly started her coaching career with Albany Elite Lacrosse in Albany, New York as the Head Goalkeeper Coach. Daly trained and coach middle and high school girl’s lacrosse goalies’ focusing on proper techniques and creating practice plans.
In the spring of 2008, Daly was the assistant girl’s varsity lacrosse coach at Guilderland High School in Guilderland Center, New York. Daly aided in an impressive 22-1 overall record leading the girls to a Section II championship.
Daly graduated from the University of Albany in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. In December 2008, Daly received a Master of Science in Second Education in Mathematics as well.
She was a member of the University of Albany’s women’s lacrosse program from 2003-2007 as a goalkeeper. She was named to the America East All-Rookie team in 2004 as well as a first team league selection in 2006 and a second team honor in 2007. Daly is the school’s all-time saves leader.
Currently Daly teaches Mathematics at Gateway Regional High School in Huntington, Massachusetts. She resides in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
